Indhalur Andhanan - Part VIII

Here Azhwar appeals to Perumal to reveal his "color" by highlighting what the Shastras say.

In Kritha Yuga he takes a form with white color as in milk as people are filled with Sathva Guna.  In Treta Yoga, he takes red color. In Dvapara Yuga he is green in color. As people are of such pursuasion where they dont care even if takes any color, he remains true to form with Dark Blue in Kaliyuga.

So Azhwar asks Perumal "what color have you taken for this Archa form and can you please reveal this to me?

முன்னை வண்ணம் பாலின் வண்ணம் - Milky in Krutha yuga

முழுதும் நிலைநின்ற பின்னை வண்ணம் கொண்டல் வண்ணம் - The ever Permanent Dark blue (hued) color during Kaliyuga.

பொன்னின் வண்ணம் மணியின் வண்ணம் - Gold and blue
